Pentingnya Pemahaman Masyarakat Melalui Edukasi Tentang Protocol Kesehatan Menghindari Penularan Covid-19 di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Rimbo Tengah Muara Bungo

ABSTRAK

Masyarakat terdiri dari berbagai ras, suku, agama termasuk budaya, sehingga masyarakat memiliki tradisi yang berbeda-beda. Jika di hubungkan dengan kejadian covid-19 sekarang, di lihat dari perbedaan tradisi atau kebiasaan masyarakat tersebut tentunya memunculkan keragaman perilaku. Seperti perilaku kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam penggunaan masker, jaga jarak dan mencuci tangan. Padahal masalah ini telah ditetapkan oleh pemerintah dan di tetapkan sebagai protocol kesehatan yang harus di patuhi seluruh lapisan masyarakat. Pemberian edukasi terhadap masyarakat merupakan cara paling efektif, dimana tujuan kegiatan masyarakat mengerti edukasi tentang protocol kesehatan menghindari penularan covid-19. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di 2 tempat Jumat, tanggal 15 januari 2021 di posyandu Lorong LDII dan sabtu tanggal 16 Januari  2021 di Posyandu Serai Harum. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan cara pendidikan kesehatan kepada para masyarakat tentang protokol kesehatan menghindari penularan covid-19 dengan metode pendidikan kesehatan menggunakan power point dan leaflet. Berdasarkan kegiatan terdapat hasil yang signifikan pada pengetahuan masyarakat sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan. Kegiatan ini memberikan hasil positif untuk masyarakat di wilayah kerja puskesmas Rimbo Tengah tentang protokol kesehatan menghindari penularan covid-19.

ABSTRACT

Society consists of various races, ethnicities, religions including cultures so that people have different traditions. If it is connected with the current Covid-19 incident, judging from the differences in the traditions or habits of the community, it certainly brings up a diversity of behavior. Such as the behavior of the lack of public awareness in using masks, keeping a distance, and washing hands. Even though this problem has been determined by the government and set as a health protocol that must be obeyed by all levels of society. Providing education to the public is the most effective way, where the purpose of community activities is to understand education about health protocols to avoid the transmission of COVID-19. The activity was carried out in 2 places, Friday, January 15, 2021, at the Posyandu Lorong LDII, and Saturday, January 16, 2021, at the Posyandu Serai Harum. The activity was carried out by means of health education to the public about health protocols to avoid the transmission of covid-19 by using health education methods using power points and leaflets. Based on the activity, there were significant results in the knowledge of the community before and after being given health education. This activity gave positive results for the community in the working area of the Central Rimbo Health Center regarding health protocols to avoid the transmission of COVID-19.
