Abstract:
Something is different about the Spring Festival of 2020. The streets are almost empty of pedestrians, with only a few cars passing by occasionally. My aunt calls and says she has to cancel her visit to our home. The long-awaited hot-pot feast is also called off. We all just stay at home to spend the holiday. The usually boisterous beach in front of our house is now empty. I have planned to go digging in the sand with my friend Tiantian, but my Mom won't let me go. She says some people out there have become ill.
