Abstract

The authors analyze the definition of «financial and budgetary security of the region» in modern Russian science. The article considers the main indicators of the economic and financial-budgetary sphere of the Kirov region during the development of the COVID-19 pandemic. The dynamics of these indicators is analyzed, the quality of decisions made by the regional authorities is assessed. The author's methodology for assessing the level of financial and budgetary security of the region is proposed, based on the normalization of indicators and their differentiation into four blocks. In accordance with the proposed methodology, the assessment of the level of financial and budgetary security of the Kirov region was carried out.
