The Present and Future Applications of Technology in Adapting Medical Education Amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic
ABSTRACT
This is a submission for the Students' Corner. This article aims to highlight the key ways in which technology is helping medical schools and medical students adapt their education in the era of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The article summarises various technologies which are currently being used including online lectures, examinations and digital study tools. It also proposes the potential future applications of more novel technologies such as virtual reality.
