Abstract
This study aims to describe the effectiveness of online learning at Muhammadiyah 2
Pontianak Elementary School. The data collection techniques used are observation,
interviews and documentation studies. The data analysis technique used is Miles and
Huberman. The results show that the effectiveness of online learning when viewed from the
implementation of online learning has been running effectively because there are
preliminary activities, namely the preparation of students before starting learning, the
teacher motivates students during learning, the teacher asks questions to hone students'
initial knowledge, and the activity explains the objectives. In the core activity, the teacher
uses a variety of media and learning resources, the teacher seems to master the learning
material, and raises student participation, and finally, in the closing activity, there is
reflection and follow-up from the teacher. Furthermore, the effectiveness of online learning
when viewed from student learning activities, it has been seen that students carry out
activities to express opinions, ask questions and give suggestions, and finally the
effectiveness of online learning when viewed from student learning outcomes, especially in
cognitive and psychomotor aspects, has met the minimum completeness criteria standards.
