Zhuoqi Chen received the B.E. degree in geography in 2003 from the Beijing Normal University and the Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in cartography and geographic information system (GIS) from the Graduate School of Chinese Academy Sciences. His research interest is polar remote sensing and data assimilation.
Shaoyin Wang received the M.S. degree at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2016 and the Ph.D. degree at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in 2019. His research interest is polar climate change with focus on sea ice variability.
Yufang Ye received the B.S. degree in physics and M.S. degree in remote sensing from Beijing Normal University, and the Ph.D. degree in environmental physics from University of Bremen, Germany, in 2016. Her research interest is polar remote sensing, with focus on monitoring sea ice and understanding the mechanisms behind.
Xiao Cheng received the B.E. and M. Tech degrees in engineering survey in 1998, and the Ph.D. degree in cartography and GIS from the Graduate School of Chinese Academy Sciences. His research interest is polar remote sensing. He is the secretary general of the University Corporation for Polar Research (UCPR), China.
