Fixed Wing Patient Air Transport during the Covid-19 Pandemic

Dr Terry Martin is a consultant in anaesthesia and intensive care medicine, former consultant in emergency medicine, and a senior lecturer in aerospace and retrieval medicine. He is the Director of the global retrieval teaching program, CCAT Aeromedical Training, and is also an examiner for the Diploma of Retrieval and Transport Medicine at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and has similar links with other universities around the world. He has set-up and managed various aeromedical and air ambulance organisations in the UK and elsewhere and has been active in writing and auditing the EURAMI international standards for the industry. After a career in the UK Royal Air Force he remains a current helicopter pilot and has extensive worldwide experience in all aspects of critical care patient transport.
