The Covid-19 Pandemic has caused irreversible damage to the global living environment. Internationally, there are nearly 100 million confirmed cases with more than 2 million deaths. Countries are strictly controlling their borders to prevent the spread of the virus, and subsequently all nations are experiencing an economic downturn due to the restrictions on imports and exports. The financial crisis has led to a negative growth in each country. Korea is no exception. Due to massive outbreaks on several occasions, many people are struggling due to prohibition of social gatherings, restrictions on small businesses, and loss of labor opportunities. And above all, social disconnection such as distancing, isolation, and prohibition of gathering in the Covid-19 quarantine process leads to emotional instability such as alienation, loss, and anxiety among the members of modern society. The negative effects of Covid-19 pandemic were especially noticeable in the church due to its principle of forming a tight-knit community. The church's response to the Covid-19 quarantine process, which includes unconscious quarantine of several groups, arguments about having or not having a virtual service, outbreaks due to non-compliance of quarantine, and society's poor view of the church during the quarantine process have led Christians to reflect on the identity and social role of the church. Additionally, many Christians were exposed to a number of psychological wounds from losses of their loved ones who were infected, disconnection and alienation, and their own society’s criticism against churches. In this context, this study relates to how Christians can prepare for the post Covid-19 era. Unlike the previous era, the post Covid-19 era is likely to be linked by experience in the Covid-19 era. In order to help overcome not only material but also non-material loss, this study aims to focus on integrated spirituality. This study will overcome the psychological wounds experienced during the Covid-19 era through emphasis on integrated spirituality characterized by relationship, community, and ecology, and seek the social responsibility and practice of Christians. To this end, churches and theology should also respond to theoretical and practical foundations for integrated spirituality, virtual culture--which is a characteristic of the post Covid-19 era--and human demands for face-to-face encounters even in high-tech and non-face-to-face situations.
