Covid-19’s rebel scientists: has iSAGE been a success?

BMJ 2021; 375 doi: https://doi.org/10.1136/bmj.n2650 (Published 01 November 2021) Cite this as: BMJ 2021;375:n2650

The second paragraph of this article by Laurie Clarke, (BMJ 2021;375:n2504, doi:10.1136/bmj.n2504) incorrectly implied that scientists from Independent SAGE were behind the Lancet letter and the YouTube and Twitter presence. Although Independent SAGE scientists were prominent among the signatories to the Lancet letter, they did not organise it or the YouTube event. The YouTube event was organised by Independent SAGE’s parent organisation The Citizens. The online version has been amended. We have also added a note to make it clear that the organisation Independent Sage, sometimes shortened to Indie SAGE, is abbreviated to iSAGE throughout the article
