Abstract: Today's business environment is characterised by rapid market fluctuations because of COVID-19. Drawing on resources-based view and resilience theory, this research proposes a framework in which supply chain integration (SCI) (internal, supplier and customer integration) can be used to enhance operational performance (OP) through four resilience capabilities (flexibility, redundancy collaboration and visibility) under COVID-19. Structural equation modelling was used to investigate the relationships among the research variables using 468 questionnaires from SMEs in the Egyptian market. Results indicated that there is a lack of direct impact from SCI to OP, except for internal integration and cost performance. In addition, resilience capabilities can significantly mediate the relationship between SCI and OP. Testing the relationships among the research variables under COVID-19 conditions will help in extending the theories. In addition, this will offer in depth understanding of the interrelationships between supply chain integration, resilience and operational performance.
