The closures of educational institutions as one of the control measures to contain the spread of corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection led to an unprecedented impact on education. This study was conducted to determine the impact of COVID-19 pandemic to the learning experience of locally-stranded foreign students as to their perceived anxiety level and academic stress, student life and learning skills. This descriptive quantitative research utilized an online survey (google form) which was adapted to suit the context of the study, then, was sent to foreign students who were not able to return to their home country during the pandemic. Data was summarized and statistically treated for appropriate interpretation. A convenience sample of 146 students participated in the current study, with equal number of males and females, has a mean age of 19.5 years. Majority of them (87.7%) are supported by their parents for their study and 97.3% are aware of the COVID-19 outbreak in the country through social media (82.9%). In terms of perceived anxiety, majority of the respondents reported moderate levels, whereas academic expectations contributed much to the perceived academic stress. Challenges to development was reported to have been a part of their learning experience while time management and procrastination is the learning skill that needs to be strengthened. It is recommended that learning institutions should develop plans for crisis management and intervention programs to respond to the needs of students.
