Thoracic and extrathoracic manifestations of COVID-19: a pictorial essay

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a disease caused by a virus named Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and it is the virus responsible for the pandemic that has afflicted the world in the last two years with important social, economic, political and scientific effects. COVID-19 is mainly characterized by respiratory signs and symptoms, but extra pulmonary and extra thoracic manifestations are widely reported in literature. This essay aims to report and describe the most important thoracic and extra thoracic radiological findings of COVID-19.
