Hotels are a key element of the tourism industry. Hotels are the most common form of accommodation for tourists and the hotel industry is intricately to tourism. A review of the academic literature indicates that existing research is primarily focused on sustainability in tourism, but very few studies have analysed the environmental dimension of sustainability in hotels in Australia, an important facet of the Australian tourism industry. The paper presents the findings of the influence of stakeholders on environmentally sustainable policies and practices (ESPPs) in the Australian hotel industry. One-on-one interviews were conducted with hotel managers as a representative sample of Australian hotels in Melbourne, Australia. The selected sample for the research comprised managers who manage approximately 60 hotels. The data was collected through in-depth interviews. It was then transcribed, coded, and analysed with NVIVO, a computer-aided qualitative data analysis software program. The sample size ensured representation by different segments of the hotel industry to include international chain-affiliated hotels, Australian chain-affiliated hotels and independent hotels. An analysis of the findings suggests that owners and shareholders are the biggest influencers as their investment takes primary importance. Other key stakeholders such as guests generally play a secondary role in influencing the ESPPs of hotels. ESPPs should lead to well-intentioned initiatives and practices that are undertaken by stakeholders to create drivers for change to contribute to environmental sustainability.

Customer loyalty has a noticeable impact on the long-term health of businesses. Hence, with the rise of consumers' awareness, corporate social responsibility (CSR) is essential in consumer behavior, specifically in attracting and retaining customers. This paper try to explore the link between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and customer loyalty based on a bibliometric analysis of 56 indexed articles between 2009 and 2020. First, the leading journals and countries in the field were identified. Subsequently, a citation analysis coupled with content analysis of the 16 most cited articles was performed. The challenge was to find out the clusters' divergence in a pinpointed topic. Accordingly, two main research streams were identified based on their mediating variables: (1) mediating effects related to consumer behavior; (2) mediating effects related to the brand. For future researchers, a future agenda was retrieved from the most influential and recent papers in the field to contribute to advancing the existing knowledge.

The Implementation of New Technologies in Customer Value Management - A Sustainable Development Perspective2021 •
The constant development of information and communication technologies (ICT) has led to numerous social and economic changes. In this article, we aimed to identify the framework of use of new technologies in the process of customer value management from the perspective of sustainable development in the context of the concept of the engaged customer. The research objective involves an empirical verification of the forms of customer engagement from the point of view of the utilisation of ICT. To discover and explore the patterns that follow, research based on quantitative methods was carried out. The study was conducted with a sample of 1134 individual respondents from Poland, which is one of the biggest and fastest growing e-market in Europe. The findings prove that in the process of customer value management, informal communication, both offline and online plays a critical role. From the perspective of business practice, a company should stimulate customer engagement by making use of the online environment, thus gaining greater control over the entire process of co-creation of value for both customers and itself. Taking advantage of ICT in the process of customer value management is highly relevant and much desired during the time of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

The significant damage of COVID-19 on the world economy forces us to reconsider a deep restructuration domestically and internationally in the next few years. This paper suggests a Post-COVID-19 reconstruction model is called “The National Domestic Economic AutoSustainability Model (NDEAS-Model).” The NDEAS-Model proposes four economic platforms: (i) the domestic education and technical training standardization platform (P1); (ii) the domestic productive infrastructure and transportation platform (P2); (iii) the selective strategic trade, investment, and tourism protection platform (P3); (iv) the environmental and natural resources management platform (P4). The main objective of NDEAS-Model is to avoid imported massive pandemic diseases, non-sustainable and weak food security platforms, and job diversion, respectively.

Up to now, far more attention has been paid to assessing the environmental, social, and economic aspects of sustainability. However, what makes this paper distinct is that it proposes a guiding framework that can be employed as a useful tool for business enterprises and other related stakeholders in transforming the potential of marketing disciplines towards upper levels of marketing orientations and sustainable consumption patterns. This present paper follows a typological model that classifies the conceptual approximations that are relatively dispersed in the literature. In doing so, the authors trace back to Kotler’s distinction of positive and normative scopes of marketing, then based on this dichotomy, they propose five different sustainability marketing levels and tag them. This paper aims to provide a convenient roadmap for traditional growth-oriented and transitionary firms who are stuck in short-term positive marketing level and thus need to include sustainability and sufficiency as the most prospective options for long term competitive advantage.
