Physical activity has been getting becoming difficult due to COVID-19, it seems that the government operated a physical activity therapy programs(PATPs) based on Community Health Center to promote regular physical activity would have been changed. Therefore, this study analyzed the changes in 158 PATPs operated by the Hoseo Rural Community Health Center from 2019 to 2020, and analyzed the differences in 79,267 participants of PATPs operated by the Hoseo Rural Community Health Center from 2020 to 2021. The analysis results are as follows. First, the number of programs is insufficient compared to the population of the region. Second, the number of face-to-face PATPs did not change significantly after the outbreak of COVID-19, but the number of non-face-to-face PATPs increased, resulting in an increase in the total number of PATPs, and the number of participants also increased in 2021 compared to 2020. Third, the PATPs did not reflect the population distribution and characteristics by life cycle. Fourth, the types of physical activities were not diverse and the health fitness elements were not evenly operated. Fifth, as a result of PATPs evaluation of exercise frequency and exercise time, about half of the PATPs were lower than the recommended standards. Sixth, as a result of non-face-to-face PATPs evaluation of exercise frequency and exercise time, more than 50% did not meet the recommendation criteria. In conclusion, the PATPs should consider the population distribution and characteristics by life cycle, and systematic composition such as exercise frequency, exercise intensity, exercise time, and exercise type is required according to the purpose of physical activity. In addition, if a non-face-to-face PATPs that enables two-way interaction and includes various physical activities is developed and combined with face-to-face PATPs, it is expected to be highly useful as a strategy to activate physical activities in the post-COVID-19 era.
