Purpose: This study aims to explore various attribute evaluation factors for participants in various marine sports activities and to analyze the correlation between satisfaction with participation and the intention to revisit.
Method: Among customers of 38 marine resorts in each region of Korea, 692 individuals who agreed to participate in the study were selected using the convenience sampling method. A total of 579 data were used as final valid samples after excluding 116 entries confirmed as unfaithful or containing incorrect responses. These final data were analyzed using statistical methods, including correlation analysis and regression analysis, in SPSS 26 for Windows.
Results: The results of this study are as follows. First, all Marine Resort program participants sought the benefits of the resort, which influenced their satisfaction. The study highlighted the effectiveness of safety, facilities, educational quality, professionalism, and staff service in that order. Second, among the benefit variables sought by participants in the Marine Resort program, all variables except staff service significantly influenced revisit intention. The impact followed the order of facility, safety, educational quality, and expertise. Third, the study found that participants’ satisfaction in the Marine Resort program significantly affected their intention to revisit.
Conclusion: It is thought that implementing various measures is essential to increase customer satisfaction and encourage their engagement. This can be achieved through the provision of safe facilities, resort-like environments, and competent leadership with expertise in infection prevention and systematic program management.
